5 FREE Things To Do Thru May 5th
By Christine G. Adamo
With finals week here and graduation quickly approaching, what’s a Nazer to do?
It’s likely your cash flow is running low – like your energy level! All that Spring Fest partying has probably got you nursing a week-long, sensory-overload hangover. Or, worse, an anxiety-ridden study buddy contact high.
If the only thing lining your pockets is dust, take heart: I feel ya. In fact, I made it my mission to find at least five FREE things you could do after your exams and before warming up your quads in preparation to walk the stage.
After all, you’ve accomplished a lot and deserve a break! Non-seniors? Deserve one, too.

Who: Art Therapy Club (for Mary’s Place Outreach)
What: Donate pens, markers, 3×5 cards, glue, foam core, etc.

I want you to remember one thing. That is, after you’ve given away everything you can possibly pass off as an art supply, had your fill of pizza and Connect Four, walked your butt off in Genesee Valley Park, eaten those s’mores and gotten centered again (with gifts even).
As you walk across the stage on graduation day, hunker down for a quiet summer on campus or take that long drive back home to family and friends, make sure you repeat after me: “They say you don’t get anything for free in life, but I say? That’s bull$hi#!”
Wherever you are on graduation day, Naz Girl About Town salutes you.
