What’s happening in the Arts Center?

Don’t you just love admiring beautiful works of art? Are you interested in the art created by the students here at Naz? Do you like receptions with free food? Well, you are in luck because the Nazareth College Arts Center Gallery is hosting The Nazareth College 2015 Student Art Show, featuring work by the undergraduate art students from the art department! There will also be The Art Education Graduate Students Annual Exhibit in the Colacino Art Gallery. This show is presented by the graduate students in the Art Education program at Nazareth College. Both galleries will be featuring a variety of mediums.

These shows run from Friday, March 27th 2015 through Sunday, April 19th 2015 with an opening reception on Friday, April 10th 2015 from 5pm – 7pm. You can hit up both of these shows in the same night, and the receptions always promise great food! There will also be an awards ceremony during the reception for the students who participated in the show. Professor Jim Quinn is the Interim Art Gallery Director and he is also my dad. This means that I get a sneak peek of the shows that are put on, and I am always amazed at the talent that is exhibited by the many different artists. I can’t wait to see you all on Friday, April 10th.

Below are the other times that the galleries are open, so even if you can’t make it to the opening reception you still have the opportunity to see the artistic masterpieces that the students of Nazareth College have created:
