Making decisions about going to college (and deciding what you are going to do for the rest of your life) at 18 years old seems crazy to me! But we have all done it.
Here I am, finishing up the last few days of my senior year and anxiously awaiting graduation, and lately, I have been asked the question, Why Naz?
For me, the answer is simple. My junior year of high school I created a list of schools that I intended to visit. A variety of the schools were close to home and some were 3,000 miles away. For weeks I began trying to sort the laundry list of schools – how I was going to know which one was right for me?
I visited a few schools while on vacation and they all felt the same to me. Then, a few weeks later we took the trip to Rochester. I headed to a few schools in the area and ended at Nazareth. We strolled around on a campus tour, talked with a few students and professors – and I was hooked. I knew Naz was the right fit for me. Many people ask me how I knew and it was literally that simple, I just had a feeling.
I merely listened to my heart and let me tell you, it was right. My experiences at Nazareth were truly one-of-a-kind. I still have the same feeling every day that I walk on campus as the day I did when I took my tour. I honestly feel like I hit the jackpot with the college, the people, and the city.
Thank you, Naz, for making my college experience one of a kind and setting me up for my future endeavors.
