What campus activities or organizations are you involved in? President of CSDA

Current UA Position: Diversity Initiatives Senator/Interim VP of Diversity Initiatives

Do you have prior experience as an official?  This is my first year being involved in student government

Position Running For: UA President

Why are you running for this position?

Being a part of student government this year has fostered a passion for taking a part in it. I feel that the experiences I have had in my various leadership roles have developed skills that would make me a successful UA President.

What do you hope to accomplish at this position during the 2015/2016 year?

I want to contribute to a campus environment that unites all of the various population represented at Nazareth College. I would like to bring more awareness to student government and how students can use the student government to their advantage.

If you could improve anything on campus, regardless of what it would take, what would it be and why?

I would improve student involvement when it comes to on campus activities and programs.

What is your favorite and least favorite thing about college? Explain:

My favorite thing about college is the amount that I learn both in and outside the classroom. I learn about the major that I am passionate about, but I also learn from the people around me. My least favorite thing about college would be how long my to do list seems at the beginning of the week.

Why do you think it’s important for students to participate in the UA or other campus activities?

I believe that participating in events and programs allows student to become active members of the campus community. I believe that it also allows student to take part in new experiences that they otherwise wouldn’t have thought they would take part in.

Are there any new initiatives or programs you are looking to introduce?

At the moment I don’t have anything specific in mind, but I do hope to introduce programs that bring together different populations on campus to give back to the community that Nazareth College is a part of.

If you had to be stuck in one TV show, which would it be and why?

The Mindy Project because it’s so funny!

What is the most important part of the sandwich?

The bread.

What is your phone wallpaper?

A sunflower!

What is your favorite Emoji and why?

The emoji with the big smile and small eyes because it looks like its going crazy from excitement.
